About De Prael Brewery

De Prael in Groningen is an exceptional brewery with a mission. It wants to make the job market accessible for everyone by opening up breweries where everybody is welcome to work. By doing this, De Prael aims to close the gap in the job market. At De Prael in Groningen you can enjoy special and tasty beers combined with good food.

The beautiful building has an unique courtyard and is within walking distance of Groningen's hotspots "Grote Markt" and "Martinitoren". The place where the love for beer and people come together.

Open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. During the vacations (through Sept. 3) open Wednesday through Sunday 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Very nice boat ride

"Really an enjoyable cruise around the canals where you have a different view of Groningen from the boat. The boat was comfortable with a glass roof, drinks and snacks available to purchase and a toilet on board.
