About Museum aan de A

Museum aan de A is the successor to the Noordelijk Scheepvaartsmuseum and shows the history of the City of Groningen and it's province. You are taken into the world of (extra)ordinary Groningers. About their successes and downsides. And of course about shipping; because after all, without shipping, Groningen would not be Groningen. The museum is located directly on the Kleine der A. The river that runs from Drenthe through Groningen and has shaped the city in the way it is right now.

In preparation for a renovation and new presentation, only temporary exhibitions are currently on display. For the current exhibition, visit www.museumaandea.nl.

Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
